Director of Finance

Anh Tran joined Jefferson Consulting in October 2014 as a Director of Finance. She is responsible for the Financial System Conversion from Quick Books to JAMIS ERP to handle the financial accounting and reporting. She is responsible for all aspects of accounting including overseas accounts receivable, accounts payable, audit, billing, banking activities and general ledger.

With the merger of AED to FHI D360, Anh served as an Associate Director of Finance for the Family Health International Development 360 (FHI D360) for three years. Anh managed the day-to-day operations of the accounting and accounts payable departments. She was responsible for generating and analyzing financial reports for senior management. She handled the financial month-end and year-end closing and provided the interface for company audits. She participated in the conversion and merger of two financial systems into one financial system.

Prior to the merger of AED into FHI360, Anh was the Deputy Director of Accounting for the Academy Educational Development (AED) for thirteen years. There she managed all aspects of the AED consultants and multi-state and international payroll, managed the full-cycle processing for AED payroll with employees in forty states and a hundred fifty countries. Anh was responsible for reconciling the general ledger accounts. She established standard procedures to increase the efficiency and quality service of the department. She was responsible for providing information for AED’s audit. She collaborated with the Human Resources department and project teams to ensure AED was in compliance with USAID, DCAA and the IRS.

Prior to AED, Anh held multiple positions in DynCorp over twenty-one years as senior payroll service center manager, general accounting manager, accounting manager and staff accountant.  She was responsible for the general accounting and served as a liaison with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and also handled Incurred Cost Claim Claims and Final billing.
