MJ Sivulich is a Senior Vice President with Jefferson Business Consulting. She provides clients with federal business development and federal marketing support and advises clients on a range of legislative and regulatory issues. MJ works with small, medium, and large businesses to develop and implement business development, capture, and go-to-market strategies. MJ leads the market intelligence practice where she provides actionable information to clients around market size, competitive landscape, barriers to entry, and catalysts for growth.
Before joining Jefferson, MJ was a Director with Thompson Advisory Group where she worked with clients to develop and implement strong legislative and regulatory agendas and provided clients assistance with federal marking and business development activities. MJ has also worked for Teledyne Brown Engineering as their Legislative Director. In that capacity, she worked to secure support and additional business for the company through federal appropriation and handled various legislative initiatives for the company.
Prior to her work for the private sector, MJ served on the staff of two Blue Dog Democrats in the House of Representatives. While on the staff of Congressman Bud Cramer, a former member of the Appropriations Committee from Alabama, MJ advised the Congressman on telecommunications, information technology, labor, federal employees and veterans’ affairs issues. MJ also advised on appropriations, focused primarily on the Federal Communications Commission and the Department of Veterans Affairs. MJ also served on the staff of Congresswoman Pat Danner.
MJ received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the South.
